A Girl From The Midwest is a single artist production. Martine is 43 years old and disabled from two diseases ITP and Sarcoidosis.

Martine recently reorded her first album at Sun Studio under the direction of sound engineer James Lott.

Martine's music is a combination of blues, gospel, and rockabilly. This has truly been a dream come true for her.

She did her first recording at Sun Studio November 2007 with good friend local musician David Brookings and James Lott. They recorded two songs that she wrote called Rock and Roll City USA and I've Got To Get Back To Memphis.
Her cd from this last session in April is called From The Ghosts of The Past.

hey kathy i have to get an official homepage yet. i may need your help with that. i'm still working on this one. yes i'm going to put Rock and Roll City USA on this one and probably I've Got To Get Back To Memphis also. i'm so happy that you were with me for both sessions it made all the difference. love ya kathy
